Darcy Rogers is from San Francisco, California and has lived in New York City for nearly a decade. She received a BA in English from UC Santa Barbara in 2004. After working for a year in the tech sector, she decided to return to school, graduating with an MFA in photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Darcy has photographed portraits for a wide range of editorial and commercial clients including Apple, Brooklyn Magazine, Deutsch Agency, Inked Magazine, MacMillan Publishing, Manhattan College, The New York Observer, New York Stem Cell Foundation, Prudential, Scene Magazine, Sherwin Williams, and St. Mary’ College to name a few. She enjoys photographing on-location and shoots in studio when necessary. She is inspired by fashion, color, and nature. She collaborates with clients to achieve portraits that feel warm, inviting, fresh, and authentic.
When Darcy is not on-set, she enjoys cooking, reading, and dance.
